Our annual Bank Holiday afternoon stroll through our beautiful local countryside. Visited the site of the proposed new Hydro scheme at Otterspool.Thanks to Sheila, Kate, Steven and Caroline and the rest of the walkers. Tuesday 6th April - Stockport Hydro share launchStockport will be at the forefront of green technology when it becomes the site of Greater Manchester's first community-funded hydro.

Monday 22nd March - Energy with a twist. Otterspool 54kW Hydro talk7.30pm Stockport Friends Meeting House, Cooper Street, which is off the A6 at the junction with Longshut Lane. Steve Welsh from Waterpower Enterprises gave a presentation and answered queries about the scheme to have a community renewable energy project on our doorstep.
