Meetings

Stockport Friends of the Earth is a local group which meets regularly.

In future, meetings will be arranged for the third Monday of each month.

Venue: The upstairs meeting room, The Town Hall Tavern, Wellington Road South (A6), Stockport. Next to the Town Hall.

This is what we do:

SFOE campaigns by

• Running stalls at local events
• Lobbying MPs
• Responding to Consultations (e.g. Planning White paper)
• Monitoring local and regional decision making on the environment
• Attending rallies
• Linking up with campaign coalitions (e.g. Clean Air Now campaign, Stop Climate Chaos)
• Participating at other local FOE group events
• Issuing Press releases
